Zilveren miniatuur kraantjeskan, F. van Strant II, Amsterdam, 1739 Titel:Default Title Gloster Ltd of Birmingham18th century silver miniature tap jug made by the silversmith Frederik van Strant II from Amsterdam. He was active from 1727 to 1754. The tap jug is marked with the city mark of Amsterdam, the year letter E for 1739 and the master mark FVS in one. A similar jug is depicted in the book Nederlands klein Zilver by BWG Wttewaall, illustration 1006, page 328. The lid and tap are removable. In good condition.
