The wine has a very attractive aroma, with notes of ripe red fruits, plums, cherries and some notes of dark chocolate and cocoa. On the palate, the wine is soft, with the presence of tannins. All this is balanced by good acidity that allows the wine to pair very well with chocolate based desserts. The grapes for this wine come from several vineyards in the heart of the Douro, the Cima Corgo. They are vinified
